General Policies:
§ When pet sitting or boarding for you, upon your return call me to verify you are home and haven’t been delayed. If you haven’t called upon your return and I cannot reach you, I will need to continue care for your pet until I am sure you have returned, additional charges will apply. If I do not hear from you within 24 hours I may need to relinquish your pet's care to your emergency contact. If client returns early there will be no refund. § We reserve the right to decline service to any pet that displays aggressive behavior. § We will not be held responsible for outdoor pets that escape confinement due to broken or inadequate fencing, or by digging under a fence. § The utmost of care will be given in watching both you pets and your home. However, due to the extreme unpredictability of animals, we cannot accept responsibility for any mishaps of any extraordinary or unusual nature (i.e. biting, furniture damage, accidental death, etc) or any complications in administering medications to the animal. Nor can we be liable for injury, disappearance, death or fines of pet (s) with access to the outdoors. We will not be responsible for plants that may die in your absence (your plant care instructions will be followed but we cannot guarantee the condition of your plants). § We will, in the event of an emergency, make every effort to take your pet to the veterinarian or animal hospital of your choice. However, if your choice is unavailable Blue N’ Pals Pet Care reserves the right to seek treatment at another facility. § In case of vacations or days Blue n’ Pals is not operating, we will try to find another company to service your pet, but Blue n’ Pals is not obligated to cover time off. Blue n’ Pals is not responsible for any substitute, client’s emergency contacts, or any third party that may be hired by the client. § In the event of inclement weather or natural disaster, company/authorized representative is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for pet(s) and home. Company/Authorized representative will be held harmless for consequences related to such decisions § Payment is due in full upon completion of service. We accept cash or check (in state). There is a $25 charge for all returned checks. We may also accept credit cards through Paypal. § For each week that payment goes past due, there will be a $2 service charge applied to your bill. § Client agrees that all outstanding charges are due and payable upon time completion of services. Any legal expenses incurred in defense or enforcement of this contract shall be the total responsibility of the owner of the pet(s). § All reservations, quotes for service or questions can be made through our office at 1-866-621-BLUE or via email info@bluenpals.com. We will return and confirm appointments during office hours so please leave a number you can be reached at during those hours. For first time customers we will need at least 3 days notice for service. We do take some last minute reservations. 24hrs or less for Blue-Key customers only, when available. We charge $5 extra per visit, per day for all last minute reservations if not a Blue Key member. § Blue n’ Pals, understands the responsibility of holding our clients keys. We take precautions when it comes to tracking each client's key. Each customer is assigned a key code that is unique to them and prevents anyone other than your sitter from identifying our clients. You may want us to hang on to your key for next time. If so we will sign you up for our "Blue-Key" program. This makes it convenient for many of our customers to make future reservations by phone or email. Customer agrees to provide one (1) key to their home. There is a one-time charge of $5 to cover our costs for this service. If you would prefer your key to be returned after each visit, we charge $5 for each pickup and drop-off, to cover our costs for this service. § In the event that Company/Authorized representative is required to employ a locksmith to gain entry to client’s premises due to a malfunction of the lock or failure of the client to leave key, it shall be the responsibility of the client to reimburse for all costs incurred. The client expressly gives company/authorized representative the authority to employ a locksmith on client’s behalf in the event of the aforementioned occurrences § The following major holidays are subject to an additional $10 charge per visit: New Years, Memorial Day, Easter, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. § An introductory visit to your home is required with 3 days advance notice. There will be a charge of $10 for this visit OR $5 if you book services during visit. Professional references, liability insurance info, and statement of quality standards are furnished. Literature may be mailed in advance. § 24 hour notice is REQUIRED to cancel a scheduled visit and avoid a charge. § Pets must have Health certificate or other proof from vet showing current Rabies, DHPP-C and Bordella vaccinations, No parasites (fecal test), must be on flea control (advantage, frontline, etc), good general health. § Non-aggressive § Complete application with medical info
