My name is Shannon…

I would love the chance to be your “Best friends, best friend!”

 

 I have loved and cared for animals since I was a child and am even told that my first word was an animal sound.  Although dogs are my specialty, I have also cared for cats, birds, hamsters, ferrets, mice, fish and rabbits…

 

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology.  My original plan was to be a social worker back in Canada.  But life led me in other directions.  I have spent 13 years in the customer service industry and customer satisfaction is extremely important to me.

 

 

I recently went back to school and started a vet tech course.  I have also taken pet first aid courses.  I have put school on hold for now to pursue my dream of opening my own pet care business.

 

I have three dogs of my own.  Nestle (my 7 year old cocker) and Emmit (4-5 year old German Shorthair pointer- RESCUE pooch) and Molly (4 yr old Poodle/terrier mix - RESCUE pooch) .  My Dogs are my children and I understand how important pets are to people and how important it is that they are cared for properly.

WHY DID I START BLUE N' PALS?

 

I have always been that friend that was called upon to care for my friends and neighbors animals while they were away on vacation or were having a longer than usual day at the office. Visit my references page for more info from friends and neighbors. Although it was always my dream to pursue this as a career, I never was financially ready until now.

 

I recently lost my buddy BLUE (see About Blue).  He was a four year old cocker spaniel and was my best friend.  I was heartbroken by his loss and promised myself that I would dedicate this business in his memory. (Hence Blue N’ Pals).

 

AS A PET OWNER AND ANIMAL LOVER I KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO BE AWAY FROM MY LOVED ONES.

I STARTED BLUE N’ PALS PET CARE BECAUSE I’VE ALWAYS LOVED CARING FOR ANIMALS AND COULDN’T THINK OF A BETTER WAY TO SPEND MY TIME.

 

OUR STAFF

 

 Because I couldn't possibly handle all of the work myself I have hired only the best in the pet service industry. It is important to us that all of our employees pass both a full background and reference check.  They must have love and respect for all animals and plenty of experience as well.

 All of our staff are bonded and insured, and certified in pet first aid.
